AEO Accreditation
We are aeo accreditTed
Our status as an AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) demonstrates our consistent compliance with customs regulations and meeting the criteria for managing commercial records when exporting and importing goods from outside the UK.
AEO is granted by HMRC and is a recognised status often used to identify businesses within the international supply chain as being secure and trustworthy.
What are the benefits of an AEO?
Since Brexit, exporting or importing from the EU is considered international, and therefore subject to more checks. As AEO is recognised not just in the EU but across the globe, and there are many advantages:
- Benefit from Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs):
The UK has already negotiated MRAs with the EU, Japan, China, the USA, Switzerland, and New Zealand, and is working towards having agreements in place with other partners.
- Streamlined customs process:
It allows for a faster application process for customs authorisations, and fewer physical and document-based controls. In other words, it reduces delays and streamlines the customs process.
- Reduced theft & losses:
With a lower risk score, it ensures safer and more secure importing and exporting of your businesses goods.
